BROADVIEW, Mont. — The 2026 FR8 Factory Big Sky 200 delivered another unforgettable weekend of off-road racing as competitors from across the country converged on Broadview, Montana for the first Joker Race of the Ultra4 USA season. Hosted in partnership with Yellowstone Off Road Racing (Y.O.R.R.), the event challenged racers with high-speed terrain, unpredictable conditions, and a grueling endurance test that proved pivotal in the championship chase.
With only two Joker Race opportunities available during the 2026 season, drivers entered the weekend knowing a strong finish could dramatically impact both their regional and national championship aspirations. Adding even more excitement, title sponsor FR8 Factory put up an additional $15,000 bonus purse for Ultra4 USA competitors, including bonuses for the overall race winner, the 4800 Legends class, the fastest overall UTV competitor, and the winners of the 4500 and 4600 classes. FR8 Factory’s commitment to supporting racers was on full display throughout the weekend, including the decision to pass the 4800 class bonus down to the next eligible competitor when the company’s own sponsored vehicle claimed the class victory.
In the premier 4400 Unlimited class, Nick Allegri delivered a dominant performance, completing all five laps in a winning time of 5:18:36. Allegri secured not only the overall race victory but also the $6,000 FR8 Factory Overall Winner Bonus after fending off challenges from a stacked field of Unlimited competitors. Bailey Cole finished second, while Cole Johnson rounded out the podium after also completing all five laps.
The battle for the overall bonus remained in doubt throughout the race as the 4800 Legends competitors were running the same five-lap distance as the Unlimited class. Dan Fresh, behind the wheel of the FR8 Factory-sponsored #1504 entry owned by Josh Sowell, put together one of the standout performances of the weekend. Fresh completed all five laps and secured the class victory while remaining in contention for the event’s overall win against the 4400 Unlimited competitors. However, because the winning vehicle carried FR8 Factory sponsorship, the additional $4,000 FR8 Factory 4800 Bonus was passed down to second-place finisher Derek Summers, who was rewarded for his impressive performance with the extra payout. Dylan Summers completed the podium in third.
The 4500 Modified class saw Taran Haalarewich put together a strong and consistent drive to earn the class victory and the $1,000 FR8 Factory bonus. Loren Anderson crossed the line second, while Austin Pyatt completed the podium in third.
One of the closest battles of the weekend unfolded in the Spidertrax 4600 Stock class. After more than three and a half hours of racing, John Williams edged Alex Fleming by just 27.5 seconds to claim the class victory and the $1,000 FR8 Factory bonus. Brexton Glines finished third after a determined effort through the challenging Montana terrain.
The UTV divisions once again showcased some of the most competitive racing of the weekend. In the Tire Spine 4900 Stock UTV class, Kurt Mackie claimed the class victory after completing four laps ahead of Jacob Smith and Pacheco and Seth Carpenter.
In the AllThingz UTV Open class, Dustin Robbins delivered one of the most impressive performances of the weekend, securing the class victory and the $3,000 FR8 Factory Overall UTV Bonus. Robbins completed four laps in 3:58:30, making him the fastest UTV competitor in the field. The battle for the win remained tight throughout the race, with Mike Slawson finishing less than one minute behind in second and Shane Smith rounding out the podium in third.
In the G-Force Suspension Technologies 4900 Pro Mod class, Eric Gilbert put together a strong performance to take the victory ahead of Scott Lesage and Dillon Schultz.
The future of off-road racing was also on full display during the Youth UTV 1000 competition. Calvin Jarvis captured the victory after completing four laps, while Kayden Gamble and Reese Cooper finished second and third respectively.
“The Big Sky 200 continues to be one of the most unique races on our schedule,” said Ultra4 USA Commissioner John Goodby. “The combination of high-speed racing, the championship implications of a Joker Race, and the incredible support from FR8 Factory and Yellowstone Off Road Racing creates a special event every year. The competition was outstanding all weekend, and these results will have a major impact on the championship battles moving forward.”
Ultra4 USA extends its gratitude to FR8 Factory for supporting competitors with the additional $15,000 bonus purse, Yellowstone Off Road Racing for hosting an outstanding event, and the racers, teams, officials, volunteers, sponsors, and fans who helped make the 2026 FR8 Factory Big Sky 200 a tremendous success.
With the first Joker Race now complete, attention shifts to the second and final Joker Race of the season, the AllThingz UTV Clash at Cross Bar Ranch in Oklahoma. As championship battles continue to tighten across every class, competitors will have one final opportunity to secure crucial Joker points before the road to the Ultra4 USA National Championship reaches its final stages.
