We’re heading back to Crandon International Raceway this Labor Day weekend for the Ultra4 Short Course World Championship.
Ultra4 USA and Crandon have officially entered into a new three-year partnership, keeping Ultra4 racing at the Polaris Crandon World Championship Off-Road Races through 2028. For 2026, racers can expect an upgraded UltraCross course, expanded night racing and a significant purse on the line.
IMPORTANT: Crandon is NOT a 2026 Ultra4 USA championship points race.
The 4400 class will race for a $20,000 purse:
$10,000 from Crandon International Raceway
$10,000 from Ultra4 USA
A 10-car minimum is required to qualify for the payout.
The overall 4400 result will be determined by the combined score from Saturday night’s UltraCross race and Sunday’s Crandon 4400 World Championship race on the legendary long course.
Two races. Two very different courses. One overall winner.
A minimum of 5 total EMC cars across the 4500, 4600 and 4800 classes is required for the EMC race to take place.
Purse Structure:
Example: If 4500 has 10 entries, 4600 has 10 entries and 4800 has 10 entries, each class qualifies for its own $5,000 purse — $15,000 total.
A minimum of 5 total 4900 cars across Stock, Mod and Open is required for the 4900 race to take place.
Purse Structure:
Example: If Stock has 10 entries, Mod has 10 entries and Open has 10 entries, each class qualifies for its own $5,000 purse — $15,000 total.
Ultra4 USA will not be running Youth classes at Crandon.
Youth racers who would like to compete during the weekend can register with Champ Off-Road and compete in the appropriate Champ class, provided their vehicle meets the applicable class and technical requirements.

Crandon has made major upgrades to the Crandonland UltraCross course, including a massive new tabletop jump and a new rock-and-dirt climb positioned directly in front of the spectator viewing area.
Thursday night practice, Friday night racing and Saturday’s Hella Rage on the Rocks mean Ultra4 competitors will also spend more time racing Crandon after dark than ever before.
Then on Sunday, the 4400 cars move from the rocks to one of the most famous tracks in off-road racing for the Crandon 4400 World Championship.
Crandon isn’t a points race this year, it’s a chance to race on one of the biggest stages in off-road motorsports, compete for a serious purse and put your name on a Crandon World Championship.
