Jaxon Fernandes

My name is Jaxon Fernandes, but I go by Action Jaxon at the racetrack. My Favorite color is Black and I love collecting racing hats. I’m 8 years old and have been competitively driving since I was 6 years old. 2026 will be my third year competing behind the wheel. When I’m not behind the wheel of my race cars, I like to play with my Legos and help my dad work in our shop on all my cars. In 2025 I secured 3 major titles during the racing season. Regionally I received a 1st place championship from Nor Cal Rock Racing in the 170 sxs stock class, a 1st place championship in the E-street sxs short course series in the youth 170 stock utv class and wrapped up the 25' season with the first win of 2026 Nationally at the 20th anniversary King Of the Hammers in Johnsons Valley California in the 170 stock sxs class and was crowned fastest 200 on the west coast.

This year I will be racing in 4 separate series, Nor Cal Rock Racing, E-street sxs short course, Ultra 4 USA and Bonfire. I will be driving in 2 separate cars. The car you all know and love, the 2023 Polaris rzr 200 the chrome American flag car and my new to me trophy kart aka mini trophy truck officially known as a JR2. My new goal is to be the fastest 200 in the US, and youngest Jr2 champion.

Racing is life for me, there is nothing else I would rather do than be on the track racing, whether it be dirt, asphalt, rocks or even indoor karting. I work very hard to become a better racer every time I strap on my helmet and get to the track. I love racing because it has taught me how to concentrate on specific tasks, listen to directions from my team, and follow through. “We might not always win but we never lose, we only learn”, that’s our team motto. One of my favorite reasons for racing is my family. We all race together as a team, my dad, the mechanic and crew chief, shows me how everything works so I can be a better driver. Grandpa “pop pop”, all level helper and radio man. Mom and Grandma “GIGI” all the love and hugs and the behind-the-scenes items we never talk about, keeping me warm and dry, full of snacks and keeping me current on all my education. My little brother Jameson, who will be racing this year alongside me for his rookie year and my first co-team driver. As a team we win together and as a team we triumph over adversity.
My current goals for the 2026 racing season are to stay focused on our mission and improve my life skills both on and off the track. This is done by showing good sportsmanship, having exceptionally good manners and appreciating the special gift I’ve been blessed with. Racing is not for the faint of heart, but it happens to be the one I love. My future goals moving forward is to do more ultra 4 style racing and more desert racing. This type of desert racing has been really fun for me. I hope to work myself into a Polaris RS1 as soon as possible so I can start practicing with 4-wheel drive and lots more power.
