DRIVER PROFILE

Adam Ellington, based in Concord, North Carolina, is the driver and owner of the 8115 Ultra4 4500 class car. He began competing in Ultra4 racing, including King of the Hammers, in 2024, where he was nominated for Rookie of the Year alongside a strong class of fellow competitors. In 2025, he raced at AOP and secured a 2nd-place finish, and in 2026 he co-drove in the 4800 class at King of the Hammers.

With over 20 years of experience in the racing and automotive world, Adam comes from a family deeply rooted in the industry. His passion for motorsports is matched by his dedication to continuous improvement, teamwork, and innovation both on and off the track.

Outside of racing, Adam serves full-time as a law enforcement officer in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He prioritizes family above all else and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially when it involves motors or anything action-driven. Known for his laid-back personality, Adam also carries a strong competitive drive and a passion for helping others grow, develop ideas, and improve systems in everyday life.

For Adam, racing is more than a sport—it’s therapy. The high-focus, adrenaline-filled environment provides a healthy balance to the challenges of his profession, allowing him to channel energy, maintain focus, and find clarity outside of the demands of daily work.
