While new to competitive racing, Hollis didn’t come from nowhere. He grew up off roading in a Jeep CJ7 and riding dirt bikes, building a foundation in vehicle control and terrain that now carries into Ultra4.
In 2020, he bought a Jeep JL and began wheeling it hard across the western U.S., pushing himself and the vehicle in increasingly difficult terrain. That experience reignited his passion for off-road and ultimately led to a bigger goal, going fast. From there, he set his sights on Ultra4 and built his program from the ground up.
After just one year of racing, Hollis has already earned podium finishes at the Wild West 100 and Insanity Fab Winter Challenge, proving he can compete with more seasoned drivers.
Silva Racing has been built through hands on work, long nights in the shop, and a relentless focus on improvement. The approach is simple, outwork the field, build a reliable car, and finish races others can’t.
