2025 Ultra4 USA Points System

Points for 1st through 4th Place

  • Points for the top 4 drivers are assigned as follows:

    • - 1st place: 1000 points

    • - 2nd place: 975 points

    • - 3rd place: 965 points

    • - 4th place: 960 points

Points Distribution Based on Finishing Position:

  • Finishing position is determined by the number of laps completed.

  • Points are based on finishing position, with 5 fewer points for each subsequent position.

    • For example:

      • - 1st place: 1000 points

      • - 2nd place: 975 points

      • - 3rd place: 965 points

      • - 4th place: 960 points

      • - 5th place: 955 points

      • - 6th place: 950 points

      • - 7th place: 945 points

Points for Starting the Race:

  • - Every driver who starts the race will receive 200 points for participating.

Points for Drivers Who Do Not Complete the Full Race:

  • - Drivers who do not finish the full race will be ranked based on how many laps they have completed.

  • - Their position and points are determined by the last completed lap.

  • - A driver who completes more laps will rank higher and receive more points than a driver who completes fewer laps.

  • - If a driver completes  more than 1 lap, they are ranked based on the last lap they completed. The number of laps they complete determines their finishing position and the points they receive according to the 5-point reduction system.

Regional Championships:

  • - The East, Central, and West Coast Series Champions are determined by the driver who accumulates the most points across all three regional races within their respective series.

  • - Drivers cannot combine points from East, Central, and West races for these championships.

  • - Each driver may compete in one “JOKER” race (from any of the three regions) and have those points apply to their designated region. You must compete in all three races of a region to be able to use a "Joker" race points substitution.

  • - You can race in all three "JOKER" races, but you must notify the commissioner prior to racing your first "JOKER", which race you want to use as points.

National Championship:

- The National Champion is determined by the driver who earns the most points from the following:

1. King of the Hammers (KOH)

2. Their top three races within a region, or with one "JOKER" substitution

3. The Nationals event

  • - To be eligible for Nationals, a driver must compete in at least one regional race.

  • - Drivers cannot combine points from multiple regions (East, Central, and West) for the National Championship.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • - A driver must compete in all races within their designated series to be eligible for the championship.

  • - A Driver of Record may appoint one substitute driver to compete in a single regional race on their behalf as per the rule-book. The substitute driver needs to race the driver of records car. The points earned in that race will count toward the Driver of Record’s total.
